Reflection questions
1. Justify how this project/activity/assignment meets the standard, using evidence from the standard itself to demonstrate your mastery and/or understanding.
This assignment relates to the standard because we made a informational brochure that includes details of a colony from the 13 colonies such as the lifestyles or natural resources of theirs.
2. Elaborate on at least 1 skill and/or strength you feel you gained from completing this project. (coloring and or drawing are not skills to write about - elaborate on life skills you can take out of this project)
1 skill/strength I feel I gained from completing this project was better gathering information skills from different sources which I searched for to get more information into my brochure. This skill helps a lot in assignments or projects that require a lot of searching information/data.
3. Upon reflecting on your work/score, what is ONE area of work you could have done better on? How will improving in this area benefit future work/projects? (coloring and or drawing are not skills to write about - research skills, time management, etc…)
Even though I scored 30/30 on this assignment I feel like it could have been done neater. Improving in this area of work benefits future work because some work actually grades on neatness and big things like writing exams which require neatness also. Also, it makes it look more professional and gives a better impression to anyone (which may help when I try to apply for a job).
4. How will you presently apply the content and skills you learned from this assignment in the real world (outside of the classroom, particularly in today’s society). Make connections between the content and your life.
I will presently apply the content and skills I have learned from this assignment in the real world in a daily bases or in the future. Gathering information in a daily bases is used about things you want to know like how to make a food, how to convert fractions in a decimal, or trying to find ways on what to do if there is fire nearby. Also, gathering information can be used in the future when I am an adult trying to find a job. I'll be gathering information of different jobs like how much they pay, what do you do in details, what is it all about, where do you work at, who contact, and etc.
