Vision board project REflection questions
1. Rewrite the standard in your own words. How does the assignment relate to the standard?
The CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.8.3 standard is about writing narratives that construct real/imaginary stories. While writing the narratives, you are also using chronological order of events, useful successful technique, and relatable descriptive words. This assignment relates to the standard because as part of the assignment, we had to create a narrative of where we are going to be in the future using everything the standard expected us to use to write/construct the narrative.
2. What steps did you take to complete the assignment?
1. I looked over the rubric of the project (I looked in the section of how to get a 4).
2. When I saw what was the minimum of pictures for each section (like skills needed), required parts.
3. I thought in my head what to search for and write ahead of plan.
4. I saved images of the ones I found in the Internet and emailed myself them (along with the descriptions/captions). Also, emailed myself the 3-paragraph narrative story.
5. I emailed Ms.Park all of it, so she can print it out and I can cut it out and etc...
6. I pasted it all into the vision board in a way, so everything would fit and not leave a lot of empty space.
7. I turned in the vision board project.
3. This assignment demonstrates the following strengths...
Shows my strengths in been descriptive when it comes to detail, creative in making a narrative story of your future, and in making known of my goals I would want to accomplish in the future.
4. I could have improved my work on this assignment by...
I could have improved by making it look a little more organized, since I was in a bit of a hurry. Doing it in a day is not the best choice you have when it comes to trying to finish the project in time and make it look presentable.
5. How will you apply the skills you learned from this assignment in the real world, as an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I will use my writing narrative skills learned from this assignment, such as revelant descriptive details, chronological order of events, and etc... in the real world. By, if I do become a proffessional soccer player that retired and had a successful over the top career. I might write a auto-biography book (not my actual narrative story, but real experiences/story) and use descriptive details of events, during my career and how it all started/the beginnings. There is a lot I can apply it to, such as in college where I hear writing skills are really useful there.
