Standards
Standard: 3a. I know the structure of the atom is composed of protons, neutrons, and electrons.
Standard: 3b. I know that compounds are formed by combining two or more different elements and that compounds have properties that are different from their constituent elements.

Reflection sheet
1. Justify how this project/lab/activity meets the standard, using evidence from the standard itself.
This activity meets standard 3a. because we created a model of the structure of an atom. With the model having the core with protons and neutrons and the electrons surrounding the core as shown on the model.
2. Elaborate on at least 1 skill and/or strength you feel you gained from completing this project
One skill I felt I gained from completing this project was creativity because I had to create a model of the atomic structure. I had to be creative on what materials I was going to make the model of and figure out how to show all the components of an atom clearly.
3. Upon reflecting on your work/score, what is one SEP/or area of work you could have done better on? How will improving in this SEP/area benefit future work/projects?
One area of work I could have done better on was one on been prepared/developing models (SEP 2). Improving in this area will benefit future work/projects because sometimes you need to bring/have your own materials to do them. If I am better prepared with my materials, then I wouldn't be behind schedule on where I should be on my project or model I have to develop with my own materials.
4. How will you presently apply the content and skills you learned from this assignment in the real-world, outside of the classroom? Make connections between the content and your life
I will presently apply the content and skills I learned from this assignment in the real-world by when I am a engineer/business owner and want to create something like a building. I will be able to create first a model of it and use my creativity on how to show it in a smaller scale. With my creativity skills, I'll put new/innovative ideas on the structure of my desired building onto the model first.
