Reflection questions
1. Justify how this project/activity/assignment meets the standard, using evidence from the standard itself to demonstrate your mastery and/or understanding.
This project meets the standard because we were given different sources/links to look at and we had to extract parts of it (gathering information) without plagiarism (in our own words) to our magazine.
2. Elaborate on at least 1 skill and/or strength you feel you gained from completing this project.
1 skill/strength I feel I gained from completing this project was to paraphrase data I was given from different sources to my magazine avoiding plagiarism. I changed some words or the order of the words in a sentence to avoid plagiarism.
3.Upon reflecting on your work/score, what is ONE area of work you could have done better on? How will improving in this area benefit future work/projects?
One area of work I could have improved on was to take out the MOST important/information from all the different sources and put it into my magazine to not have too many small details that would make it seem to wordy. Improving in this area benefits future work/projects because this will prevent the reader from becoming disinterested to the project. This helps on getting a higher score on presentations because one of the parts you get graded on is having the audience's attention most of the time and makes it easier to memorize all the way to the back of your head when it comes to you presenting (don't have to look mostly at the actual work/eye contact towards the audiences).
4. How will you presently apply the content and skills you learned from this assignment in the real world (outside of the classroom, particularly connections between the content and your life.
I will presently apply the skills I learned from this assignment in the real world when I try to cook something I don't know how to make yet, gathering information from different sources on how to make this food, so I can finally make it.
